They had this to say about it – ‘
Summertime sōmen (素麺)! Sōmen are typically chilled on ice right after they’ve been cooked, and you’ll see them seasoned with yuzu, and a katsuobushi-based sauce with some onion, ginger or myoga. It’s one of the best pleasures to enjoy away from the heat!
Katsuobushi (鰹節) is simmered, smoked and fermented skipjack tuna It is also known as bonito flakes. It’s often used with a dashi broth, or as a topping to Okonomiyaki, Osaka’s famous savory pancakes.
In our Ramen Pack we deliver you a tasty portion of yuzu-flavored somen. The noodles are smooth and thin, just as they should be. They come in a refreshing Japanese style soup made from bonito flakes and a hint of yuzu. The dish is finished with eggs, green onions and kamaboko!’
