Okay, this sounds good! This one is from the same folks that brought us Red Chef – two of their four varieties are in my annual global top ten. I’ve got high expectations and hopes these new KampongKu varieties are all I think they probably will be – super good! Let’s give them a go!
KampongKu Garlic Black Pepper Fried Noodles – Malaysia
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodles in 400ml water for 3 minutes. Add in content of sachet. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added fried garlic, coriander, Thai pepper, black sesame seed, and fried egg. Noodles were your standard good chew instants. The chunky paste though – wow! Lots of garlic and black pepper bits to and fro as well as a tomato taste in there. All very enjoyable. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 9551010615025.
