Here’s what they had to say about it – “Another recently released cup of instant ramen (August 2nd), the ramen reproduce the famous spicy chicken taste known from Baby Star Ramen. Baby Star Ramen is a flavored fried noodle-style snack owned and sold by Matsuda Sangyo Co., Ltd. (now Oyatsu Company Ltd.) since 1959. This instant ramen will give you that same snack feeling thanks to its lovely texture. The coarsely ground chili pepper contained in “Kayaku” in addition to pepper enhances the flavor and gives that hint of spiciness Baby Star is famous for.
The chicken soup comes with a refreshing aftertaste of soy sauce, unique to this collaboration, and while you mix the noodles and condiments, the aromas will come steaming out of the cup to tickle your nose and make you want to dive straight in! The more you’ll eat, the more you’ll want.”
Really curious how this will be since it smelled kind of like cereal. Let’s give it a try!

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains chicken and pork. To prepare, fill to line with boiling water and cover for 3 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Detail of the lid (click to enlarge).
A well seasoned noodle block.
Loose bits from the cup.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added chicken, spring onion, sesame seed, Lao Gan Ma Spicy Chicli Crisp. Noodles are about as expected; nothing really to write home about. The broth, although mentioned as being spicy, really isn’t. It’s about as spicy as chocolate pudding. It’s tasty though; reminds me of the flavor of Nissin Chikin Ramen which is nice. The little stars and pieces of corn are welcome. 3.0 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4901071247294.
