This is one jazzed company. Why? A big time influencer in Indonesia says that she likes their mi goreng better than Indomie’s. That’s truly a big deal – and so here we are with their new recipe for mi goreng to find out whether I agree. I did do the hot and spicy and honestly, that one was great – especially since it has a nicer oiliness oto the noodle and wasn’t as dry as their competition – I’d say I liked Best Wok’s better. Let’s see how this new original mi goreng fares.
Best Wok Mi Goreng Original – Indonesia
Detail of the large package (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but look for yourself. To prepare, boil noodles 3 minutes in 400ml water. Drain. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
An individual package.
The noodle block.
A dual dry sachet of seasoning and fried onion.
A triple sachet of sweet and spicy sauce, seasoned oil, and sweet soy sauce.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added lime sliced, fried egg, cili padi, coriander, scallion, sesame seed, baked chicken, and chili sauce. Perfect gauge for an instant mi goreng – that’s for certain. The flavor was very nice – sweet, savory, and a hint of heat. The best part is how these were very moist while other varieties are kind of dry. This delivered a bump to mouthfeel I enjoyed thoroughly. No brainer – 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8991688890637.
