Thanks to James from Lakeside, CA for shooting these over – awesome! Haven’t seen this brand before – I don’t think they have anything to do with the college… Sounds good though; I generally enjoy anything shallot sauce flavor. Let’s give it a go!
MIT Shallot Sauce Dry Noodle – Taiwan
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodles for 4~5 minutes. Drain. Add in liquid sachets. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added soft egg, sesame seed, spring onion, sliced chashu, and crushed red pepper. The noodles had a flat and narrow gauge to the, They cradle the sauce very well. There was definitely a strong shallot taste here which was nice, however an aftertaste kind of rubbed me the wrong way. 3.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 4713809934389.
