Okay so I’m not exactly sure what Gree is but this is GreeNoodle. This brand was on my Bottom Ten list for a long, long time. I’m curious if it still would hold that spot. It’s been so long since I’ve tried this they’ve got new packaging – I think it’s been close to ten years. Let’s give it a chance and see how it goes.
GreeNoodle Yakisoba – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Says it’s Vegan but check for yourself. To prepare, add noodles and vegetable sachet to a pot and boil 3~4 minutes. Drain. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
A block of green noodles.
A dry powder base sachet.
A seasoned oil sachet.
A vegetables sachet.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added serrano pepper, spring onion, and sesame seed. Th noodles didn’t impart that bitterness I was loathsome of so many years ago. What was in it’s place was sweetness from the seasonings. Not my favorite, yet not what I remember being so terrible. The corn seemed very out of place as this is yakisoba. 3.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8850987139253.
