Here’s another one sent by James from Lakeside, CA – thanks again! This one’s made in Vietnam, but for the US market. Chicken instant cup noodles. Sounds pretty basic to me and should be alright – let’s find out!
Snapdragon Chicken Ramen – United States
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add in sachet contents and fill to line with boiling water. Cover for 3 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

The noodle block.
A sachet of dry powder soup base.
An oil sachet with what looks like garlic.
A sachet of dry vegetables.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added marinated egg, spring onion, baked chicken, shichimi, and sesame seed. The noodles came out alright – nothing really special. The broth was not an umami experience like mentioned on the lid – kind of ho hum and surprising as the broth looked very full and rich. The included vegetables were also kind of interesting; the inclusion of corn was haphazard and I couldn’t expect a street vendor being in business with this product for long. 2.0 out of 5.0 stars.
