Here’s what they have to say about this one – ‘Wonton? Yes please! For the novices, wonton is a type of Chinese dumpling commonly found across regional styles of Chinese cuisine. But it’s just as popular in Japan, where a lot of elements from Chinese cuisine have been important, and changed to taste. For the holidays, we bring you this special collaboration from Acecook with Yonchan TV in a delicious wontonmen (ワンタンメン, wontonnoodles) with 4 kinds of seafood, dashi, and salt!’
Hey this is cool – a tie in and a wontonmen. Generally wontonmen is quite good. Let’s give this one a try!

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains pork and chicken. To prepare, add in dry sachet contents and fill to line with boiling water. Cover for 3 minutes. Add in remaining sachets. Finally, stir and enjoy!

The noodle block.
A sachet of dry base.
Dry garnish.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added soft egg, chashu, spring onion, chili oil, and sesame seed. Noodles came out alright, but nothing special. Broth was a kind of seafood thing with a strange back to it I didn’t appreciate. Had trouble locating wonton. Lots of egg was nice. 2.5 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4901071216689.
