From the folks that brought you the unique goose oil dry noodles, we now have a braised beef variety. This looks really quite fancy – definitely a super premium range. It’s joined also in this range by a Duck Blood Mung Bean Noodle variant which also sounds good – let’s give this one a try from Kung Fu Noodles, a newcomer to the Taiwanese Top Ten.

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains beef. To prepare, boil noodles 5~6 minutes. Drain. Boil large retort pouch for 2 minutes. Add noodles and pouch contents to a bowl. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion and sesame seed. Noodles are a perfect match in this one. Great dry noodle gauge has a great backbone and are toothsome. The broth has a rich and deep flavor – lots of spices anda little spiciness. The included beef was definitely succulent – melty beef and tendon just were so good.
