This is the second of two instant cups found at a local 7-Eleven store. 7-Eleven is based in Japan and a mainstay throughout Asia. I remember check it out in Taiwan and holy cow – they have tons of stuff. People go there to pay their utility bills, make their car payments, and buy all sorts of stuff. This reminds me of the kinds of products they have overseas, but more localized for the US consumer. Let’s check it out!
7 Select Cheese & Herbs Pasta Cup – United States
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, fill to line with boiling water and stir. Cover for 3 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added chashu, scallion, and crushed red pepper. The macaroni product in this one just didn’t work right. It wouldn’t get soft and it was in that mid stage of crumbliness towards done. I gave it another try after it sat for a few minutes after the pictures were taken, but it just never got there. The sauce had a pretty good flavor to it, but it didn’t fix the noodle’s doneness issues. 1.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 052548708689.
