Got this during the days before Lunar New Year and it looked fascinating. Turns out the brand is Sad Super Hot Noodles. Looks like you get the noodles and a couple big sachets. I’m game – let’s check it out!

Two sachets of spicy mala sauce!
Finished (click to enlarge). Added lime, coriander, scallion, sesame seed, and crushed red pepper. Very standard gauge glass noodle. So there’s that. Unfortunately, the broth is a very oily one that’s very much a Sichuan pepperfest. It’s spicy, sure – but not savory or anything. Very monotone. Bummed out. 0.25 out of 5.0 stars.
