Here’s the second variety from Poco Kitchen I’m trying that comes with noodles. I think I’ll probably do their broth as well. Thai peanut saute sounds interesting – let’s give it a go.
Poco Kitchen Thai Peanut Saute – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains chicken. To prepare, Add everything to 1 1/2 cups water in a pot and stir. Bring to a boil, then turn down to a good simmer and cover for 5 minuttes. Stir and let sit covered for 5 minutes. Check if noodles are done enough for you – if not, let them sit another 2 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Rice noodle and seasonings, unprepared.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added coriander, Thai chilli peppers, sesame seed. These were good – my only complaint was the time to took to cook. The rice stick required the extra 7 minutes (as mentioned on the packaging) so in all it was around 20 minutes. That aside, the rice noodles came out very nice – good chew and feel. The flavor was a peanut infused one with a light tart and sweetness. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 850030860019.
