Thank you to James of Lakeside, California for sending this. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I heard about this stuff and have really wanted to review it for a couple months after Stumpy of N Little Rock, AR told me about it. He wasn’t a fan and by the looks of things, I probably won’t find this to be the second coming either. But the thing is for me, my favorite instant noodle is the one I haven’t tried yet – and this is not only one I’ve not tried, but a brand I’m completely unfamiliar with. This is made in China. Let’s check it out!
NeoStar Ramen Delight Savory Chicken – United States
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add in sachet contents and 300ml boiling water. Cover 3 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

The noodle block.
A sachet of soup base powder.
A sachet of dehydrated vegetables.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added narutomaki, soft egg, sesame seed, Lao Gan Ma spicy chilli crisp, scallion, baked chicken, sesame seed, and chili flake. Whew. The noodles were on the atrocious side of the spectrum; underdone and just spongy. The broth was a salt lover’s paradise to the point of wretchedness. This could have been avoided by changing the instructions on the side, as 300ml is far too little liquid to make this palatable whatsoever, 500ml would be a better choice, however I think it might be just a little saltier than necessary at that point. It is possible the sachet was overfilled, but I don’t think so. Back to the drawing board with this one; time to change the recipe if you want repeat buyers. 0.0 out of 5.0 stars.
