Here’s what they had to say – ‘Mizutaki is a nationally known hot pot dish, which is originally from Fukuoka prefecture, south Japan. Literally, Mizutaki (⽔炊き) means “water” and “boil”. This is a metaphor to describe how gently it tastes and how simply it is cooked. Part of the CupStar Ramen series from Sanyo, it’s served with chicken, which is characterized by the umami of chicken balls and the umami of condensed chicken. The dish is finished with thick, voluminous noodles. Sanyo aimed to reproduce the taste of Hakata’s local dish “Chicken Mizutaki” into ramen soup. They based it on the chicken seasoning, the richness of vegetables and the Japanese-style soup stock with an addition of kelp and bonito. Now, you may also wonder, who’s that beautiful person on the cover wearing the traditional kimono? It’s a member of the famous idol group 乃⽊坂46 (Nogizaka46), the official rival of AKB48, to celebrate the 47th anniversary of the brand! ‘
