Firstly, thanks to Prima Taste for sending some samples! I thought this would be a nice duet of pizza pies to try. I know – ‘why do you do these things?’ Because I have to in order to feed my curiosity to see what different combinations and different vehicles will deliver when it comes to foods. Today it’s singaporean pizzas! Let’s do it!
Prima Taste Laksa & Chili Crab Pizza Party!

Time to make a couple of pizzas!
Recipe
For the dough, I use a bread machine – I’ll have a link below so you can buy one on amazon or you can hit up your local thrift store and probably find one really cheap there – and in like new condition. For the pizza dough, I use 4 cups flour, 1 1/3 cup hot water, some salt, some sugar, and active dry yeast. Oh and 2 tbsp butter. Add the water, then butter, salt and sugar, half the flour, a teaspoon of the dry yeast, then the other half of the flour on top. Set your bread machine to dough and let ‘er rip. Should end up with a well behaved dough ball inside of 2 hours.
As for the toppings – for the laksa pizza, I took the two large sachets from a pack and added a little water and stirred – just got it to a light simmer. Used that for the sauce base, then some noodle, 5 colossal shrimp, mozzarella, and then some fresh mojito mint leaves on top.
For the Chilli Crab pizza, I mixed the included sauce and the oil sachets and spooned that on as the base. Then noodles, imitation crab, mozzarella, and a lot of coriander (cilantro).
Prima Taste Singapore Wholegrain Laksa La Mian Pizza
Finished (click to enlarge). This one worked great – not too sloppy. I wished honestly that I added more mint as every bite that had it was even better. The shrimp fit in very well also. I was worried the wholegrain might not have worked so well, but it rose to the occasion. A tasty pie!

Prima Taste Singapore Chili Crab Flavored La Mian Pizza
Finished (click to enlarge). The imitation crab left this one quite wet, although it worked well. Nice sweetness and a little hint of spicy. Coriander (cilantro) added a nice flavor as well.
