A while back I discovered some of this brand’s Big Boss varieties – and it looks like there are more now, so that’s neat. Spicy and sesame sounds good enough – let’s find out.

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add in all sachets and noodle and fill to line with boiling water. Cover for 5 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added spring onion, and sesame seed. Vermicelli was alright; a little thinner than I like. The broth has a strong Sichuan peppercorn flavor with a light sesame paste – which I wish were stronger. A balance could be achieved that would really make this one shine. 3.0 out of 5.0 stars.
