I haven’t tried anything from these guys in quite a while. Their pillow packs were definitely not well received by this reviewer, but that was a very long time ago. These cups look interesting. These folks also make rice which is quite good – especially the ‘forbidden rice.’ Let’s give this thing a try.

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add in sachet contents and fill to line with boiling water and cover for 3 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added fried garlic, scallion, black sesame seed. This one is interesting. The noodle has a definite rice flavor to it and definitely not like rice stick or vermicelli. It has a nice flavor to it – definitely from an aromatic rice. The only downside was some clumping I found even after a lot of stirring. The broth on the other hand has very little flavor and is quite bland, save for the garlic pieces which are of good size and tasty. This has a lot of pros and cons to it. 2.75 out of 5.0 stars.
