Here’s another one of these varieties with a cartoon looking boss on the cup. I found this at 99 Ranch Market and while I’ve found quite of this style cup there that I’ve enjoyed, the last one I tried wasn’t my favorite. Let’s give this one a try!
Sichuan Baijia A-Kuan Big Boss – Instant Vermicelli Spicy Hot – China
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add in all sachets and noodle and fill to line with boiling water. Cover for 5 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added spring onion. Vermicelli hydrated nicely. The broth is Sichuan peppercorn heavy with a nice smattering of vegetables in there. Not too spicy, but spicy enough. 2.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 6926410320610.
