Another one from S-Mart (shop smart, shop S-Mart). They had quite a few of these and we bought all of the varieties they had. Let’s check it out – by the was I went to Huaxi Night Market in Taipei. Just sayin’.
Ya Shu Huaxi Beef Flavored Rice Noodle – China
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free, but check for yourself. To prepare, add sachet contents to 200ml water. Boil noodle for 2~3 minutes. Drain noodles. Finally, place noodles with base and stir. Enjoy!
Interesting – Sau Tao trolley noodles.
A seasoning sachet.
A sachet of ‘bones soup,’ probably emulating a bone broth.
A chili powder pack. It’s funny – look at the little words on it and the others like ‘struggle, ‘mindfulness,’ etc.
A large liquid base sachet.
Fried soy beans?
A vegetables sachet.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added fried beef, scallion, and sesame seed. Noodle was pretty good – nice gauge and tooth. The soup/sauce was oily and salty with a kind of beefy taste. Wasn’t a big fan of the soybeans but otherwise enamored. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 6970381662514.
