So this one is a little confusing. There’s the Akai Kitsune udon, but there’s this kitsune udon. I don’t know the difference. But anyways, this is another kitsune uson. Let’s hit it up and see how it is.
Maruchan Kitsune Udon – Japan
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Unsure if it contains meat, but probably contains fish – check for yourself. To prepare, add in everything and fill to line with boiling water. Cover for 5 minutes. finally, stir and enjoy!

A large, sweet and wonderful rectangular piece of fried tofu which feels like a tongue.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added narutomaki, spring onion, and sesame seed. Udon it thick and flat with a light tooth. Broth is decent – a little sweet, a lot of salty with bonito notes. Fried tofu is on point. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4901990368285.
