Definitely made in China, but definitely packaged only for sale in the United States. This one sounds interesting – let’s cold kick it live.
Uncle Ya Sichuan Cold Noodles – United States
The back of the package (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle for 3~4 minutes. Drain. Rinse with cold water. Add everything in. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Some Sau Tao Trolley Noodles…
A sachet of dry seasoning.
A spicy sauce sachet.
Pickled mustard.
Soy sauce, perhaps?
Vegetable flakes.
Peanuts.
Crunchy pea garnish.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion and sesame seed. Noodle was alright -, but a different style may have been a better match here. The flavor was a tart and Sichuan peppery blend. Mustard was nice and peanuts of good quality, but the little peas – just cant get with those. 2.75 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 6970381662521.
