Fried or fired? I think fired since the noodles that come with this one aren’t fried. But – do you fry the noodles? Let’s figure this out. Made in China, packaged for US sale.
Uncle Ya Peas Fired Noodles – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle 2~3 minutes. Drain. Add in sachets contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
A pouch of shelf stable noodle.
A dry sachet of seasoning.
A sachet of pickled mustard.
A large liquid base sachet.
A sachet of vegetable bits.
A retort pouch full of peas.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added mung bean sprout, chicken, sesame seed, and spring onion. Noodle wasn’t bad. Flavor was lackluster; very light. The peas were there. This was pretty surprising to me. Expected more – but it’s not bad. 3.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 6970381662538.
