Looks like I’ve had this years ago so guess I can do a new number on this one. Kind of irritated since the pamphlet called this sauce yakisoba but what can you do. Let’s give it a try…
Itomen Yamaimo Soba – Japan
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle for 3 minutes in 450ml water. Add in sachet contents. finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added spring onion, sesame seed, shichimi, and mung bean sprout. Noodle was alright – a decent gauge. The broth was really just lackluster. Just not a fan of the buckwheat soba and sweet and bonito kind of broth. 1.5 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4901104132245.
