Here’s what they had to say about this one – ‘To complete our noodle selection, we went to Sapporo Ichiban’s overly seducing selection, and picked some Sapporo Miso Ramen for you. This
is a local cup noodle that you can easily enjoy in Summer and has the unique taste of Sapporo Miso Ramen. The noodles are on the thicker side, with a strong stickiness and a heavy texture that goes well with soup. Sapporo-style miso ramen soup combines rich miso sauce using Hokkaido brewed miso (55% of the miso) and flavored vegetables such as garlic and ginger. Matching the
strong flavors of the soup, the ingredients are a combination of soboro (flavored minced meat), corn, and green onions.’
This one is rather fascinating to me – it looks like this one I reviewed back in 2018. It looks mostly identical except the characters that are largest. It’s been over 4 years. Slight packaging change. Let’s give it a try.
Sapporo Ichiban Tabimen Sapporo Miso Ramen – Japan
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains chicken and pork. To prepare, add in dry seasonings and boiling water to line. Cover for 3 minutes. Add in liquid base. Finally, stir and enjoy!

The noodle block.
A sachet of liquid base.
A sachet of garnish.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added chashu, mung bean sprout, egg, spring onion, sesame seed, and shichimi. Noodle was pretty good; pretty standard. The broth was a luscious red miso – very hearty. I found this to be an agreeable usage of red miso, which oft times can be just a bit too heavy and strong. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4901734025351.
