A huge thanks to Pher Engi of Australia for sending this among many other Indonesian varieties recently – truly above and beyond. This is one I really loved for a long time when it was an export version to the United States, however it stopped coming our way. This stuff is top notch and really thrilled to be able to review it again. The name translates to curly noodle with grilled chicken flavor. It also comes with a soup to be served alongside. Let’s begin.
Indomie Mi Keriting Rasa Ayam Panggang – Indonesia

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle and veggies (sachet marked sayuran) for two minutes. Drain. Add all dual sachets. Add soup sachet to 150ml hot water and stir. Finally, stir and enjoy with soup on the side!
Package was a little beat up but here’s the noodles.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added chicken (baked and massaged with seasoning salt, cumin, and paprika), spring onion, fried egg, fried onion, and crushed red pepper. This is incredibly good. The noodle has a great gauge and excellent chew for the application. Flavor is a chicken and spicy sweet and oily melange of wonder, Included vegetables hug the edges of the noodle and bring a great freshness. The soup was a very savory chicken broth flavored affair.
