This is jjamppong – a spicy seafood stew type. It’s honestly one of my favorite Korean flavors and hoping this one is really great – let’s find out.
Samyang Buldak Jjamppong – South Korea
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Pretty sure it has seafood but check for yourself. To prepare, boil 550ml water and add noodle, sauce, and solid ingredients. Boil for 5 minutes. Add in oil sachet. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added carved squid, fish cake, mung bean sprout, shrimp, sesame seed, and green onion. The noodle is excellent – top notch. The broth is a slightly seafood and Buldak sauce split soup. I would have liked more of a smoky or grilled taste in this one. Heat level was pretty hot. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars.
