This is another departure from the more Japanese styled flavors they had originally and I’m really curious as to what it will taste like. I’m doing a few beef reviews this morning – I tend to cook a certain protein and then see if I’ve got some of the same flavor profiles to go along with it and I have three. So, let’s start out on the healthy end of the stick!
Vite Ramen Beef Pho v3.0 – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains chicken and beef. To prepare, boil noodle block in 2.5 cups water for 3 minutes. Add in dry sachet contents and stir. Finally, top with oil and enjoy!
The noodle block.
A large sachet of soup base.
A sachet of oi l.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added sauteed beef, mung bean sprout, sesame seed, coriander, and sriracha. Noodles are verry chewy and hearty. The broth has all the halmarks of pho but light of saltiness. It’s also a bit thicker that I would say is standard for pho. The beef flavor is quite good, however – a lot of things about this one are excellent and a couple I can’t get with. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. No bar code.
