Here’s the second of two of these Wicked Foods varieties we found recently at the Lake City Fred Meyer grocery store. The last one was pretty slimy. Let’s see what this one has in store…
Wicked Foods Late Night Rice Noodles – United States
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, fill to line with boiling water and stir. Cover 4 minutes. Finally, stir again and enjoy!

The rice noodle nest.
A ton of seasoning base.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added mung bean sprouts, sesame seeds, crushed red pepper, and spring onion. I must say the rice noodles hydrate really well and are of a wide and soft nature – really quite impressed. The broth is very strange though; I would compare it less of a broth or sauce and more of a syrupy melange. It’s got the scent of barbecue potato chips with a little heat to them. It’s palatable, but I don’t understand who this is geared towards. It’s like it’s supposed to be on the healthy side, but combined with the flavor and texture of some kind of MRE that went incredibly wrong. Biotoxic, yet really compelling. This one’s pretty hard to review, to be honest; I feel conflicted between my like of the noodle and strange flavor. 2.5 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 850023690043.
