Another one that came by way of Pher Engi – thanks again! This one came out with a big promotion a few years back. What’s funny too is that I had this ten years ago. How do I know? Look at the pack here! So, what’s cabe ijo? Translates to green chili – and what’s neat it that the noodle ends up greenish from the sauce. Let’s give it a go!
Indomie Mi Goreng Rasa Cabe Ijo – Indonesia
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle for 3 minutes. Drain. Add in sachet contents. finally, stir and enjoy!
Noodle a little broken but no worries.
A sachet of seasoning powder. I really like the word bumbu. Why can’t we have nice words like this in English? I guess gumbo, guacamole – those are fun words.
A dual sachet of sweet soy and seasoned oil.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added crushed red pepper, fish ball, coriander, sesame seed, and egg. Noodle is the standard Indomie mi goreng gauge. The flavor is certainly a salt and savory green chili pepper – it works. The sweet soy sauce balances it very well. 4.5 out of 5.0 stars. 089686010718.
