Thanks again to Pher Engi for this crazy train of neat Indonesian varieties, of which I’ve barely scraped the surface! This is a shrimp paste flavored mi goreng – and it’s not like anything I’ve seen thus far in my reviewing – look at everything in this thing! Let’s get cooking!

An import sticker (click to enlarge).
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle for 3 minutes. Drain. Add sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Noodles got a bit beaten up during it’s time in the mail, but should be just fine.
A sachet of dry seasoning base.
A sachet of sweet soy sauce.
A sweet chili sauce sachet.
A sachet of seasoned oil.
A sachet of chili powder.
A sachet of spicy sauce.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added green onion, shrimp, sesame seed, crushed red pepper, fried onion, and fried egg. Noodle is great – nice gauge and chew for mi goreng. The flavor is strong – spicy, sweet, and savory. That sambal was truly wonderful. Just wonderful stuff. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8996788711585.
