Another one sent by Pher Engi – thanks again! This is the second of three varieties she sent in the Jiwa Pagi range by Kobe of Indonesia. The noodles are infused with carrot and green bean which is interesting. The last one had a nice flavor to it – let’s check this one out!

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle 3~4 minutes. Drain. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added baked chicken, fried egg, scallion, and crushed red pepper. The noodle was just fine for this application. The flavoring was definitely much more sweet than spicy. I’m sure every Indonesian has a nice sauce they can add to bump up the heat, but I expected at least a little heat, which was completely absent. 3.25 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8995899003206.
