Here’s an interesting one I found at 99 Ranch Market. I went hunting for things for when I was coming back to reviewing after a hiatus and this was staring at me. Interesting – let’s give it a try.
Hezhai Lio Men Chopped Pepper Fish Head Flavor – China

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains chicken and fish. NOTE – this is surprising insofar as chicken isn’t generally something imported into the US – curious. To prepare, add boiling water and cover for 4~5 minutes. Drain. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Looks like sesame seed and seaweed.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added tofu puff, crushed red pepper, and spring onion. Noodle was pretty good – nice gauge and chew on these. The flavor is a tangy fish with a little minced fish kind of texture, albeit not sure if that’s present, but I think so. A little bit of spice – not overbearing. The sesame seed and seaweed were in there. Not bad. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 6971105776227.
