Here’s what they had to say about this one -Are you ready to get your slurp on? Say hello to the Wakayama rich Chinese noodles – the latest addition to the “Drinking Ippai” series that’s guaranteed to keep you coming back for more! This cup of ramen features round blade noodles that have just the right amount of elasticity and smoothness, making each bite a true delight. And let’s talk about the soup – it’s packed with flavor thanks to the addition of garlic and pepper to the pork bone soy sauce base. And don’t forget about the liquid soup that brings out the best of the pork fat and soy sauce. It’s so delicious, you’ll want to drink it until the very end! But that’s not all – this cup of ramen is finished off with minced soybeans that add a delightful texture, along with green onions that bring a pop of color to the dish. And let’s not forget about the fish paste products that add an extra layer of flavor and richness. So if you’re in the mood for a tasty, satisfying meal that’s perfect for any time of day, look no further than the Wakayama rich Chinese noodles.’
Sounds interesting enough.
I’ve been reviewing instant noodles since 2002, doing episodes of Instant Noodle Recipe Time, The Chocolate Break with my wife, Professional Mukbang, Unboxing Time With The Ramen Rater and more. Right now, we’re in a pretty crummy financial situation and hoping that some of the fans will be able to help out. Big thank you from all who have already!! Acecook Tategata Nomihosu Wakayama Kotteri Chuka Soba – Japan
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains chicken and pork. To prepare, fill to line with boiling water and cover 3 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Detail of the lid (click to enlarge).
The noodle block.
Loose bits and seasoning from the cup.
A liquid sachet that was affixed to the top of the lid.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added chashu, mung bean sprout, spring onion, narutomaki, shichimi, and sesame seed. Noodle was rather spongy. The broth was compelling, yet kind of like a brown gravy incantation of miso, but at the same time not so much. I dunno – weird. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4901071300197.
