This is the second of two pack versions of Nissin Fire Wok, this time a beef variant. This one’s supposed be hotter than the chicken one I reviewed prior – I guess we will see.
I’ve been reviewing instant noodles since 2002, doing episodes of Instant Noodle Recipe Time, The Chocolate Break with my wife, Professional Mukbang, Unboxing Time With The Ramen Rater and more. Right now, we’re in a pretty crummy financial situation and hoping that some of the fans will be able to help out. Big thank you from all who have already!! Please check the link here for details – thank you.
Nissin Hot & Spicy Fire Wok Scorchin’ Sichuan Beef Flavor – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains beef. To prepare, boil noodle for 3 minutes. Drain – save 2 tablespoons water. Add noodle, water, and seasoning to pot. Finally, stir and enjoy!
The noodle block, infused with peppers.
A single dry base sachet.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, beef, fish cake, sesame seed, mung bean sprouts, and scallion. Noodle was nice like the chicken pack variety – thick and chewy. The flavor in this one was very confusing; I detected notes of Sichuan pepper, however overall the flavor was just kind of strange and unexpected. Just didn’t like this one as much. 2.5 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 070662205044.
