This one came by way of Pher Engi of Australia – thanks again! So BonCabe is a spicy concoction – like a seasoning. There are differing levels of heat and this one is LEVEL 30. I think the next up is the BonCabe Max End. Anyways, I’m very curious how spicy this one is, so let’s find out.
I’ve been reviewing instant noodles since 2002, doing episodes of Instant Noodle Recipe Time, The Chocolate Break with my wife, Professional Mukbang, Unboxing Time With The Ramen Rater and more. Right now, we’re in a pretty crummy financial situation and hoping that some of the fans will be able to help out – a lot of bills, loss of some resources, and ongoing illness have all contributed to being a perfect storm which is very hard. . Big thank you from all who have already!! Please check the link here for details – thank you.
Kobe Mi BonCabe Rasa Ramen Pedas – Indonesia
A distributor/import sticker (click to enlarge).
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains shrimp. To prepare, boil noodle in 450ml water for 3~4 minutes. Add in liquid base sachet and stir. Finally, sprinkle silver sachet contents on top and enjoy!
The noodles – a bit beat up but that’s okay.
A liquid base sachet.
The spicy BonCabe seasoning.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added narutomaki, egg, mung bean sprouts, spring onion, sesame seed, and BonCabe original level 30. Noodle is pretty good. The broth is fascinating; feel like there’s a peanut note, akin to tantanmen here. The heat level? Definitely not as strong as I expected. It’s hot, but not peel my wig back hot. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8995899211540.
