Sapporo Ichiban Tabimen Yokohama Iekei Tonkotsu Shoyu – Japan
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains chicken and pork. To prepare, add in clear sachet contents and fill to line. Cover for 3 minutes. Add in liquid base sachet. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Detail of the lid (click to enlarge).
The noodle block.
A liquid base sachet.
A clear garnish sachet.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, spring onion, chashu, sesame seed, narutomaki, and mung bean sprout. Noodle was ho-hum. Broth was almost a miso tonkotsu really; maybe miso, shoyu tonkotsu – the tonkotsu aspect was so muted it was saddening. The included chashu was rather lackluster; a thin slice of pepperoni, really. 2.75 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4901734030119.
