Man, where did I find this one. Hmm… I think I found it at 99 Ranch Market in Edmonds, Washington, but I could be totally wrong. It looks as Sichuan Baijia is making this one, however they’re making it in Inner Mongolia which I find fascinating. I’m really curious about this one, that’s for sure. Let’s give it a a try!
I’ve been reviewing instant noodles since 2002, doing episodes of Instant Noodle Recipe Time, The Chocolate Break with my wife, Professional Mukbang, Unboxing Time With The Ramen Rater and more. Right now, we’re in a pretty crummy financial situation and hoping that some of the fans will be able to help out – a lot of bills, loss of some resources, and ongoing illness have all contributed to being a perfect storm which is very hard. Big thank you from all who have already!! Please check the link here for details – thank you.
Little Sheep Signature Soup Noodle – China
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. I should note these these instructions are very strange and I think the translation is way off, but here goes. Boil noodle along with oil sachet contents in an unmentioned amount of water for 4 minutes. Remove noodles. Add noodle to 550-600ml water and add noodles. Bring to a boil and cook 2 minutes. Finally, add in remaining sachets, stir, and enjoy!
The noodle block.
A large soup base sachet.
An oil sachet.
Another oil sachet.
Some solid ingredients.
Looks to be vegetables.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion and sesame seed. Oh dear… Noodle really didn’t take on any flavor and was very floppy and without any redeeming value. The broth was a strangely smoky and musty thing with plenty of goji berries. This did not float my boat, rather it scuttled the ship and kicked it while floundering. 0.0 out of 5.0 stars.
