Definitely haven’t tried this one in the past, but I’ll review it today thanks to Pher Engi from Australia – thank you very much! Aceh is a region of Indoesia – that being said, here’s a little blurb about this one I found online –
Indomie Mi Goreng Aceh celebrates Aceh culinary greatness with this new innovation! Aceh is a province in Indonesia famed for traditional culinary tastes that has a strong blend of savory, spicy, and sweet tastes in your mouth.
Let’s give it’s due time.
I’ve been reviewing instant noodles since 2002, doing episodes of Instant Noodle Recipe Time, The Chocolate Break with my wife, Professional Mukbang, Unboxing Time With The Ramen Rater and more. Right now, we’re in a pretty crummy financial situation and hoping that some of the fans will be able to help out – a lot of bills, loss of some resources, and ongoing illness have all contributed to being a perfect storm which is very hard. Big thank you from all who have already!! Please check the link here for details – thank you.
Indomie Mi Goreng Aceh – Indonesia
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Unsure whether it contains meat – check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle 3 minutes. Drain. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Looks like a thicker noodle.
A dual sachet of fried onion and seasoning powder.
A trifecta of liquids – chili sauce, sweet soy sauce, and seasoned oil.
Detail of the lid (click to enlarge). Added fried egg, crushed red pepper, and a little sesame seed. Noodle is a tad thicker than standard found in Indomie Mi Goreng. I liked that – and the flavor was different – it relied a lot of green chillies which was very nice. Something different and enjoyable. 4.25 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 089686043204.
