Well, here we are. The standard stuff. This was found at GMart in Lynnwood, Washington. So, what is it? It’s a combination of ramyun and tteokbokki – which are tubes of rice flour that are chewy and truly wondrous. Anyways, these really have been hit and miss on preparation – either dry or exploding in the microwave. Let’s give it another try.

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains crustacea, shellfish, and fish. To prepare, add in everything and water to fill line. Cover and microwave at 700W for 3 1/2 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, crushed red pepper, mung bean sprout, green onion, and sesame seed. Noodle and tteokbokki – perfect out of the microwave. The sauce was – saucy! 50% power in a 1250W microwave was certainly the sweet spot. Just the nicest sweetness and little bit of spicy – excellent. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8809054402387.
