Here’s one that came in a Zenpop.jp box. Here’s what they had to say about it – ‘An offshoot from the Nissin Famous stores series! This special cup was inspired by young Japanese people’s interest in Korean food. It stands out by actually having tiny pieces of Japanese Chili baked into the noodles themselves! But the spiciness is balanced out with cheese, ginning it a sweet n’ sour touch.’
This sounds interesting – cheese ramyeon cup noodles – let’s give it a try!
Nissin no Togarashimen Amakara Cheese Yangnyeom Chikin Flavor – Japan
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains chicken and pork. To prepare, fill to line with boiling water and cover 3 minutes. Add in pepper sachet. Finally, stir and enjoy!

The noodle block.
Loose bits and seasoning from the cup.
Spicy stuff!
Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, chashu, sesame seed, narutomaki, and spring onion. Noodles are thin and flat just like most Cup Noodle. The flavor was a spicy and cheese flavor – the cheese was a kind of ‘butter is to movie theater butter as cheese is to odd cheese’ kind of thing. But it wasn’t bad. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars.
