Found this neat one at Boo Han Market on Highway 99 in Edmonds, WA. Rapokki is a combination of noodle and rice cake – a great combo of textures and usually really quite good. Hopefully it works out well – seen a few microwavable varieties not go so well – hopefully this is one that gets a good score as rapokki is a favorite.
Aram Wonderpokki Spicy Rapokki – South Korea
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains squid, shrimp, and shellfish. To prepare, add in all sachets and hot water up to line. Microwave for 2 1/2 minutes at 700W. Microwave for 20 more seconds after stirring. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added mung bean sprout, green onion, sesame seed, crushed red pepper, chashu, and egg. Noodle was good, tteokbokki was nice and soft. Sauce was excellent, however a little thinner than I would have preferred. Still, like a bowl of candy. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8809355880785.
