Now this is a name I can get behind – Ginataang Monggo sounds like something from Flash Gordon! But it’s not. It’s porridge – I really like foreign languages! Anyways, yeah this one sounds interesting – let’s give it a go – by the way big thanks to James from Lakeside, California for sending this along!
Pamana Ginataang Monggo Mung Bean Porridge With Coconut Milk – United States
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add in sachet contents and fill to line with boiling water and stir. Cover for 5 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

The dry mung bean porridge.
A large sachet of seasoning.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added nothing. A very thick porridge here, however bits of under hydrated things had a chalky texture I didn’t enjoy. The coconut milk aspect was quite noce though. 3.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 795981230071.
