Here’s what they had to say about it – ‘Some of the best, and rarest, instant ramen in Japan are usually those made in collaboration with a restaurant! This cup is even more, since Sugakiya is at the same time a restaurant chain, and the producer of this cup. This results in a conveniently packaged version of Sugakiya’s famous Negi Ramen (ネギラーメン) from Nagoya. 🏯 The group is celebrating its 60th anniversary, and that’s 60 years of expertise in crafting delicious meals in their restaurants, and package them for your home! The noodles are satisfyingly chewy, paired with a lovely soup that has the accents of chili oil (ラー油) and chili peppers (唐辛子), true to the original recipe. It’s appetizing, refreshing, and a solid cup of instant noodles. 🍜’
I’m a big fan pf green onions so high hopes. Let’s give it a try!

The noodle block.
A liquid base sachet.
A garnish sachet.
A microthin slice of chashu.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, sesame seed, spring onion, mung bean sprouts, chashu, and Sichuan pepper powder. Noodle was pretty good – nice bite to it. The broth was really interesting, however had a kind of smokiness that was rather off-putting.. Included chashu was like a tiny round piece of bologna which was sad. 2.0 out of 5.0 stars.
