This one’s a little different from the last two I tried. The last two at the top mentioned Vietnamese rather than Chinese on the packaging. So far, no good for this company insofar as my reviews. The last two scored very low – rather non-nom – and I’m hoping there’s going to be one that I like as these were pretty expensive. With an open mind, let’s give it another go.
Omsom Saucy Noodles Garlic Black Pepper – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains fish. To prepare, boil noodle 4 minutes and drain. Add in sachet contents and 2 tablespoons hot water. Finally, stir and enjoy!

A large liquid base sachet which mentions it is thick and needs the two tablespoons hot water to make it ‘silky smooth.’
Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, sesame seed, black pepper, and spring onion. Noodle was my favorite gauge but didn’t impart the texture I’d expect. The flavor was just a slight variation on the last variety; there were bits of garlic in there. This didn’t float my boat. It sunk it.
