This is pretty awesome. First, thanks to Pher Engi for sending this one! Second, I reviewed this waaay back in 2011 (right here in fact). Thirdly, it says baru in the corner – baru translates to new. Twelve years later, it’s still new! Let’s cook it up! Last time I had it I gave it five stars.

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, steep noodle block in 400ml boiling water for 3 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

I wonder if there’s supposed to be two fried onion sachets or just one – but hey two is definitely wonderful!
Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, mung bean sprout, spring onion, and crushed red pepper. Noodle was a little spongy. Broth was kind of less strong as I remembered; in fact, seemed a little disappointing. The curry flavor was great – just wish there was more of it. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8998866200578.
