Here’s the third of the Yoko Street fresh varieties they shipped – figured I’d better cook them up quick as they’re fresh. This one sounds particularly nice! Let’s get started.
Yoko Street Tan Tan Ramen With Ground Chicken – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains chicken. To prepare, heat pouches in boiling water (unless they say ready to eat) in boiling water for 8 minutes. Add 8oz boiling water to condensed soup base and mix. Finally, add everything in and enjoy!
One of the two servings of noodles.
Soup base.
Ground chicken.
A sachet of carrots.
Some bok choi.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, scallion, and sesame seed. Noodle is great – wonderful tooth and fresh. The broth is truly excellent – a punchy tantanmen broth with light notes of heat, vinegar, and umami for days. I generally dislike bok choy, but here it was such a nice inclusion. Once mixed, it’s really quite something to behold! 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. No bar code.
