Here’s one that came in asubscription box – here’s what they had to say about it – ‘Sapporo Ichiban re-released their classic Consommé Soy Sauce instant ramen in a new Pokémon collaboration. ⚡ The dish is simple, taste, well-balanced and comes with the umami of chicken! Even the noodles are slightly seasoned so that every slurp bring you some flavors. On the topping side you’ll find some cabbage, minced meat, onions and carrots 🥕 What’s new, is the original Pokémon packaging and a new series of stickers to collect! Keep them safe, they might be worth gold in the future!’
Gold? Well, you can see it below – the sticker I got that is, and I’m giving it to my daughter. The idea of here’s something fun – now don’t touch it… It’s lost on me and attributable to hoarding… You see dudes my age doing with Funko Pops – aka nerd Beanie Babies. But that’s another gripe for another day. Let’s boil a Pokemon…

Look – a sticker.

The noodle block.
Loose bits and seasoning from the cup.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion and sesame seed. Noodle came out relatively well. The broth and noodle don’t seem like they know each other. What I find is a salty shoyu. The redeemer here is the little meaty bits and cabbage – those are great and I would love a cup of just that but that’s not what we have here. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4901734050483.
