Hey look – another new one! I’m thinking maybe I’ll have to sauté some chicken and add in some Mandarin orange… Very curious how this noodle will impart such a flavor; in a good way, or like some Tang powder mixed in. Let’s find out.

Detail of the lid (click to enlarge).
An instant noodle block.
A sachet of garnish.
A sachet of dry powder base.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added Mandarin orange slices, scallion, and sesame seed. This one has a more standard fried noodle gauge. They are soft with a light chew. The flavor is a citrus with notes of sesame. Bits of cabbage are sporadic and welcome. I should mention that given these nice attributes, it doesn’t really enthrall me. It doesn’t have an orange flavor reminisent of drink powder per se, but it’s just not my bag. 2.25 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 041789007125.
