It was 2011. Nobody’d heard of COVID?. Everything was somewhat peaceful as far as I remember. 13 years ago. That was the last time I’d tried this one. There are a ton of these Yakisoba varieties – some are no longer made – the taco one was my 1000th review. Four Cheese, Tomato & Basil, Sweet * Sour – if you want to see them all here you go. But today, it’s cheese! Let’s cook it up.
Maruchan Yakisoba Cheddar Cheese Flavor – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, fill to line with water and close lid. Microwave 4 minutes at 1000W. Let sit an additional minute. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added homemade bread crumb topping. Noodle comes out with a light chew as expected, gauge is broad. The cheese powder turns into a sauce. This works well with the noodle and provides a nice cheese flavor. Really quite surprised with this one; it’s not bad at all. 4.75 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 041789007668.
