Here’s a variety that I found in one of MiauMall’s Nakama Noodles subscription boxes! Inside, they have 8-10 different varieties from Japan! If you’d like to get one, don’t forget to use the coupon code THERAMENRATER for a discount! Let’s see what they had to say about this one – “Next, let’s head over to Osaka’s Koreatown for some delicious yakisoba. This yakisoba is a Nissin collab with the Korean Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen. It features a delicious sweet and spicy feel like yangnyeom chicken and a downright addictive cheddar and gouda cheese flavor.”
What’s awesome about their boxes is they contain packs among cups, bowls, and trays. This is great as I’ve not reviewed a lot of pack versions from Japan! Let’s give it a whirl!
Nissin Bokkeum-myeon Korean Sweet & Spicy Cheese Yakisoba – Japan
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains pork and chicken. To prepare, boil 260ml water in a pan. Add in noodle blocks and flip until all water is absorbed. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
An instant noodle block.
A sachet of soup base powder seasoning.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added sesame seed. Noodle has a really nice gauge – thick and flat. The flavor is a strange kind of spicy, sweet, and ‘off’ tasting affair. Not very good. 1.5 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4902105902332.
